Sunlight & Vitamin D

34
Friday I had my yearly physical, and although I'm feeling better...I felt that something was still a little off, maybe Vitamin B? Vitamin C? so I prayed, "God, let there be progress."  And there was...I'm Vitamin D deficient...just hadn't thought far enough up the alphabet.  This summer, I've been purposeful in spending time outdoors soaking up the rays; I even have a bit of a golden glow, so I was surprised at the tip of the scales for Vitamin D.

Since my aunt's funeral, almost daily, I've been singing: "Walking in sunlight all of my journey; over the mountains, through the deep vale."  Except I think of it as 'son light'.  Nearly all summer, I've awakened feeling like something was off or missing or deficient.  I've gone rogue and self-diagnosed:  I probably need to walk in the son light more and increase my dosage of D3 (divine-trinity).

Of course, it takes months of increased daily dosages of D3 to get levels into the normal range.

Ecclesiastes 11:7 Truly the light is sweet, And it is pleasant for the eyes to behold the sun; (NKJV)
